Introduction
Colored Pixels Studio built the Lumentime app as an Ad Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by Colored Pixels Studio at no cost and is intended for use as is.
Throughout this document, “Colored Pixels Studio,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to the individual owner/developer operating under the brand name “Colored Pixels Studio” and any affiliated parties who contribute to the development, maintenance, or operation of the Lumentime app. These terms protect both the brand name “Colored Pixels Studio” AND the individual developer personally from ANY and ALL liability, claims, damages, or legal actions.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

For a better experience of this app and while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain information. The information that we request will not be retained by us. We do not have any online server to store your personal data to use it in any way.
App Configuration Data
To provide the core functionality of our app, we store your lamp configurations and settings locally on your device using SQLite database. This information includes:
- Lamp color preferences and brightness settings
- Timer configurations and auto-dimming preferences
- Display mode selections (LED, Neon, Glass, Full screen, etc.)
- Custom text for neon displays
- Ambient sound selections
- Flow mode and animation preferences
- Device brightness control settings
Important Information About App Data:
- All lamp configurations are stored locally on your device only
- We do not upload or sync your lamp data to remote servers
- We do not track your usage patterns or lamp preferences
- Your settings and configurations remain private to your device
- All data processing occurs on your device
- You can delete all data by uninstalling the app
- Data is never shared with third parties except as required for basic app functionality
- NO CLOUD BACKUP OR SYNC: We do not provide cloud backup, account sync, or cross-device synchronization of your lamp data
- NO LOGIN REQUIRED: We do not collect usernames, passwords, email addresses, or any login credentials
- NO USER ACCOUNTS: The app functions entirely without user account creation or personal identity verification
- LOCAL DATA ONLY: If you uninstall the app or reset your device, all your lamp configurations will be permanently lost
Free vs Pro User Features
Lumentime offers different feature sets for free and pro users. Understanding these differences is important for your usage expectations:
Free Users Receive:
- Maximum of 3 custom lamps
- Full Lamp display mode only
- Basic timer functionality
- 3 basic ambient sounds
- Full screen mode access through an advertisement
- Advertisement-supported experience
Pro Users (One-time purchase) Receive:
- Unlimited custom lamps
- All lamp display modes (LED, Neon, Glass, Full Screen)
- Advanced auto-dimming features
- Flow mode with breathing light effects
- All 15 ambient sounds including pro options
- Ad-free experience
- Full screen mode without advertisements
Device Brightness Control
When you enable device brightness control features in the app:
- The app may adjust your device’s screen brightness to match lamp brightness
- This setting is optional and can be disabled at any time
- No brightness data is collected or stored beyond your current session
- Brightness adjustments only occur while the app is actively being used
Subscription and Payment Processing
Our app offers a lifetime pro purchase to remove advertisements and unlock premium features. For subscription management, we use RevenueCat, a third-party service that handles subscription analytics and customer identification. When you purchase pro access:
- RevenueCat creates a unique customer identifier to manage your pro status
- Your purchase is processed through your device’s app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store)
- RevenueCat tracks your pro status and entitlements to ensure proper access to pro features
- Pro data is synchronized across your devices using the same app store account
- We do not handle or store payment information directly – all payment processing is managed by Google Play or Apple App Store
- NO PERSONAL LOGIN DATA: We do not collect or store your Google account credentials, Apple ID information, or any personal login details
- APP STORE ACCOUNT ONLY: Pro status is tied solely to your app store account (Google Play or Apple ID) – we have no access to your account information
- AUTOMATIC VERIFICATION: Pro status verification occurs automatically through your device’s app store without requiring any login information from you
However, the app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Advertising
Our app includes advertisements provided by Google AdMob, AppLovin, Facebook Audience Network (via AdMob mediation), and other advertising partners. These advertisements:
- May use device identifiers and other non-personal information to serve personalized ads

- Are governed by the respective privacy policies of our advertising partners

App Purpose and Comprehensive Health & Safety Disclaimers
CRITICAL WARNING – READ BEFORE USE:
- RELAXATION AND AMBIANCE TOOL ONLY: Lumentime is designed exclusively as a relaxation and ambient lighting tool for sleep, focus, and mood enhancement. It is NOT intended as a medical device, therapeutic treatment, emergency lighting, safety equipment, or professional lighting solution.
- COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH WARNINGS: Use of this app may cause serious health issues including but not limited to: eye strain, headaches, migraines, sleep disruption, circadian rhythm disruption, photosensitive epileptic seizures, dizziness, nausea, visual disturbances, dry eyes, blurred vision, neck and shoulder pain from poor posture, fatigue, anxiety, restlessness, and worsening of existing medical conditions. Individuals with epilepsy, seizure disorders, migraine disorders, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, anxiety disorders, sleep disorders, depression, or any light sensitivity conditions should consult medical professionals before use.
- DEVICE DAMAGE AND SCREEN BURN-IN WARNING: Prolonged use of this app, especially at high brightness levels or for extended periods, may cause permanent and irreversible damage to your device including: screen burn-in, pixel degradation, LCD/OLED panel damage, premature display aging, color distortion, permanent ghosting, overheating, battery degradation, reduced battery life, system instability, hardware malfunction, and complete device failure. Static images displayed for extended periods are particularly likely to cause permanent screen burn-in that cannot be repaired.
- DEVICE BRIGHTNESS CONTROL RISKS: When device brightness control is enabled, the app adjusts your device’s screen brightness which may cause: device overheating, battery drain, reduced device lifespan, eye damage from sudden brightness changes, temporary or permanent vision problems, discomfort in dark environments, sleep disruption from blue light exposure, and interference with your device’s automatic brightness sensors.
- PROLONGED USAGE DANGERS: Extended use of bright screen displays may lead to: computer vision syndrome, digital eye strain, dry eye syndrome, blurred vision, double vision, color perception changes, temporary or permanent vision loss, disrupted sleep patterns, insomnia, dependency on artificial light for relaxation, reduced natural melatonin production, and increased risk of macular degeneration.
- SOUND THERAPY DISCLAIMER: While our app includes ambient sounds designed for relaxation, these are not intended as medical treatment for sleep disorders, anxiety, tinnitus, hearing loss, or other health conditions. Prolonged exposure to audio may cause hearing damage, tinnitus, auditory fatigue, or worsen existing hearing conditions. Consult healthcare professionals for medical concerns.
- TIMER FUNCTIONALITY LIMITATIONS: The timer feature is designed for convenience and relaxation routines only. It should NEVER be relied upon for critical time-sensitive activities, medical timing, emergency situations, cooking timers, medication reminders, wake-up alarms, safety applications, or as a replacement for medical timers or alarms. Timer accuracy may be affected by device performance, background restrictions, power saving modes, and system factors.

- AGE AND SUPERVISION WARNINGS: This app is not recommended for children under 13 years old. Children and teenagers may be more susceptible to screen-related health issues, eye damage, and sleep disruption. Parental supervision is strongly recommended for users under 18.
- ENVIRONMENTAL AND SITUATIONAL RISKS: Do not use this app while driving, operating machinery, in situations requiring full attention, in environments where screen light could pose safety risks, during power outages as emergency lighting, or in professional settings where color accuracy is critical. The app should not be used as a replacement for proper room lighting, reading lamps, or safety lighting.
- BATTERY AND ELECTRICAL SAFETY: Prolonged use may cause excessive battery drain, device overheating, and potential fire hazard. Monitor your device temperature during use and discontinue if the device becomes excessively hot. Charging while using the app intensively may increase overheating risks.
- NETWORK AND CONNECTIVITY: Advertisement loading and pro feature verification require internet connectivity. Network issues may cause app malfunction, unexpected behavior, or data usage charges from your carrier.
- INDIVIDUAL VARIATION DISCLAIMER: Effects and reactions to light therapy, relaxation apps, and screen exposure vary greatly between individuals. What works or is safe for one person may be harmful to another. Age, health conditions, medications, genetics, and environmental factors all influence individual responses.
BY USING THIS APP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THESE EXTENSIVE RISKS AND USE THE APP ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. COLORED PIXELS STUDIO ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY HEALTH ISSUES, DEVICE DAMAGE, OR OTHER PROBLEMS THAT MAY RESULT FROM YOUR USE OF THIS APPLICATION.
