Introduction
Colored Pixels Studio built the Radius Around Me app as an Ad Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by Colored Pixels Studio at no cost and is intended for use as is.
Throughout this document, “Colored Pixels Studio,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to the individual owner/developer operating under the brand name “Colored Pixels Studio” and any affiliated parties who contribute to the development, maintenance, or operation of the Radius Around Me app.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Radius Around Me unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience of this app and while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain information such as your current Location. The information that we request will not be retained by us. We do not have any online server to store your personal data to use it in any way.
Location Data
To provide the core functionality of our app, we require access to your device’s location data. This location information is used exclusively to:
- Display your current position on Google Maps
- Enable radius circles and markers to be placed at specific locations
- For Premium subscribers: Enable the optional live location following feature where circles automatically reposition based on your current location
Important Information About Location Data:
- Location data is only accessed while you are actively using the app (“While Using App” permission)
- We do NOT track your location in the background or when the app is closed
- We do not maintain any location history
- We do not monitor or track your movements
- We do not store your location data on remote servers
- All location data is accessed in real-time from your device and processed locally
- Location data is never shared with third parties except as required to display map functionality
- Each time you open the app, it requests fresh location data from your device
- If you disable location permissions, the app’s core mapping features will be limited
Live Location Following Feature (Premium Only):
- This feature allows your radius circles to automatically reposition based on your current location as you move
- It is available exclusively to Premium subscribers
- You must explicitly enable this feature in the app – it is not automatically activated
- This feature only works while the app is open and actively being used
- NO background location tracking occurs – the feature stops working when you close the app or switch to another app
- The circles are simply redrawn at your current position while you actively use the app
- This feature uses the same “While Using App” location permission as the rest of the app
- This feature is designed for professionals who need dynamic coverage area visualization while on the move (delivery drivers, field service workers, etc.)
- All location processing occurs on your device in real-time – we do not collect or store your location history
- You can turn off this feature at any time through the app settings
You can control location access through your device’s Privacy settings. The precision level of location data collected is determined by your device settings and can be adjusted according to your preferences.
User-Created Content
The app allows you to create and save map elements (circles and markers). This information:
- Is stored locally on your device
- Is not uploaded to our servers
- Can be deleted by you at any time by removing the elements or uninstalling the app
- May include any text, labels, or descriptive information you choose to add
- Includes visual settings such as circle fill transparency preferences
Subscription and Payment Processing
Our app offers a premium subscription to remove advertisements and unlock premium features like live location following. For subscription management, we use RevenueCat, a third-party service that handles subscription analytics and customer identification. When you purchase a subscription:
- RevenueCat creates a unique customer identifier to manage your subscription status
- Your purchase is processed through the Apple App Store
- RevenueCat tracks your subscription status and entitlements to ensure proper access to premium features
- Subscription data is synchronized across your devices using the same Apple ID account
- We do not handle or store payment information directly – all payment processing is managed by the Apple App Store
However, the app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Advertising and App Tracking Transparency
Our app includes advertisements provided by Google AdMob, AppLovin, Facebook Audience Network (via AdMob mediation), and other advertising partners. In compliance with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework and iOS privacy requirements:
App Tracking Transparency (iOS 14.5+)
When you first launch the app, you will see Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission dialog. This is a system-level prompt that asks for your permission to track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites:
- Permission Request: “Allow [App Name] to track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites?”
- Your Choices: You can select “Ask App Not to Track” or “Allow”
- Consent-Based Tracking: We only access your IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) if you grant permission
- No Impact on Core Features: Your tracking choice does not affect the app’s mapping functionality
- Change Anytime: You can modify your preference in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
Advertising Based on Your Choice
If you ALLOW tracking:
- You may see personalized advertisements based on your interests and activity
- Our advertising partners may use your Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA)
- Ads may be tailored to your preferences across different apps and websites
- Cross-app advertising measurement and analytics may occur
If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”:
- You will still see advertisements, but they will not be personalized based on your cross-app activity
- Ads may still be relevant based on the current app context
- Your IDFA will not be accessible to our advertising partners
- Limited advertising measurement may still occur for frequency capping and basic analytics
Device Identifiers and Tracking
Our advertising partners may collect and use the following device identifiers (subject to your ATT consent):
- Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS devices (only with your explicit consent)
- Device model, operating system version, and other technical specifications
- IP address and general location information
- App usage patterns and interaction data
- Ad performance analytics including views, clicks, and conversions
This information may be used for:
- Cross-app advertising and measurement (only with IDFA consent)
- Frequency capping to limit how often you see the same ad

- AppLovin may share information with its partners and service providers to enhance ad delivery and reporting
- If you decline tracking, AppLovin will provide non-personalized advertising experiences

While we do not directly access or collect this data, our advertising partners may do so in accordance with your App Tracking Transparency preferences and iOS privacy settings.
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
This information is used solely for the purpose of maintaining and improving app functionality.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.

App Purpose and Calculation Accuracy
Important Limitations:
- NOT A NAVIGATION APP: Radius Around Me is NOT a navigation application. It does not provide directions, routing, or location tracking for navigation purposes. Elements placed on the map are static by default unless you explicitly enable the live location following feature (Premium only). The live location following feature simply repositions circles based on your current location while you actively use the app – it is designed for radius visualization, not for turn-by-turn navigation.
- CALCULATION ACCURACY DISCLAIMER: Due to the Earth’s curvature and factors including but not limited to terrain, building structures, weather, device limitations, map projection limitations, and various geographical factors, all distances, areas, coordinates, and other measurements provided by the App are APPROXIMATE and should be treated as ESTIMATES ONLY. These calculations may deviate from actual real-world measurements and should never be relied upon for critical decisions. We will not be responsible for any incorrect information or consequences resulting from reliance on these approximate calculations.
- NO LIABILITY FOR DECISIONS: Colored Pixels Studio expressly disclaims any responsibility for decisions made by users based on information, measurements, or visualizations provided by the App. You should never rely exclusively on this App for making decisions that require precise measurements or that could impact safety, legal matters, property boundaries, navigation, or other critical concerns.
- NO PROFESSIONAL REPLACEMENT: This App is not a substitute for professional surveying, mapping, or measurement tools. It should not be used for professional purposes requiring high precision.

Additional Advertising Controls:
- iOS Users: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > Personalized Ads (turn off)
- Limit Ad Tracking: While this feature is deprecated in iOS 14.5+, you can still access it in older iOS versions
Subscription Management:
- iOS Users: Manage subscriptions through Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
- Use the “Manage Subscription” option in our app’s premium screen
- Subscription management is handled by the Apple App Store
Location Controls:
- Turn off location access for the app in Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services
- Choose “While Using App” for all app features (default and recommended setting)
- Disable live location following in the app settings to prevent circles from repositioning as you move
- Note: Disabling location access will limit the core functionality of the app
Live Location Following Controls (Premium Users):
- Enable or disable live location following directly in the app’s Circle Location screen
- This feature is off by default and requires explicit activation
- This feature only works while the app is actively open and being used
- No additional location permissions are required – it uses the standard “While Using App” permission
- You can disable this feature at any time without affecting other app functionality
- Disabling this feature will revert your circles to static positioning
